Acme Electric Corporation Surge Suppression Module (ASSM), Only Consumes 3/4 " of DIN-rail Space  Lumberton, N.C. (January

now offers a product for overvoltage protection in single phase equipment.
The ASSM, two-piece unit, protects power supplies, PC's, controllers and
other electrical/electronic equipment from transient power disturbances
caused by lightning, utility grid and load switching, and de-energized inductive
leads. Module status alert features minimize the time the ASSM is not providing
surge protection. The ASSM only consumes 3/4" DIN-rail space and weighs less than 1 pound. The two-piece module can be replaced independently for added cost effectiveness and can be mounted quickly and easily on DIN-rail. Unit is available in 120 V AC and 230 V AC, single-phase versions, UL-1449 2nd edition listed, rated IP20, for "touch-safe" application. It is covered by Acme Electric's 5-year limited warranty.
